Visiting Distilleries

It's August 2008 and I just got back from visiting a few distilleries in Scotland. It is always a great experience and some are better than others. Although the process varies little from place to place visiting them can be a hit or a miss. Some you cannot take photos during tours (Strathisla). They say it is dangerous because of the alcohol in the air, yet they used to use an open fire in the same areas to heat the stills. Others have no such restriction such as Glenmorangie, Auchentoshan and Talisker. As it is always sunny and tropical weather in Scotland don't forget your umbrella if you are going.
